During CinemaCon in recent days, Sony has revealed that its new name for their non-MCU films will be called “Sony’s Spider-Man Universe.” Previously going by “Sony’s Universe of Marvel Characters,” the films in this shared world, which began with 2018’s Venom starring Tom Hardy, will include the upcoming Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Morbius, and Kraven the Hunter, the latter of which will be directed by J.C. Chandor (A Most Violent Year, Triple Frontier) and will star Aaron Taylor-Johnson....

According to Sony’s recent earnings report for the third quarter of the 2021 fiscal year (which ends on March 31), approximately a third of the $3.6 billion (so $1.2 billion) will be spent on a strategy to incentivize Bungie employees into staying with the studio. Now, Sony is looking to make speedrunning a bit easier on its platforms. While speedrunning is incredibly popular in gaming, especially for streaming, it is seen as something that isn’t immediately accessible for many. Taking on a game like Elden Ring requires hours upon hours to find the necessary strategies to complete the game as quickly as possible. However, with a new Sony patent, it may be easier to get into speedrunning and for a player to record their times....

It’s a shame that Sony hasn’t unveiled the Xperia Z4 smartphone considering we’ve now seen the HTC One M9 and Samsung Galaxy S6. Yesterday, Soulja Boy posted a tweet informing his more than five million Twitter followers that his website (SouljaWatch.com) has been hacked. The rapper claimed that his ex-cameraman had hacked the site and taken it down. Soulja Boy also urged people to contact Shopify (the ecommerce platform that powers the site) in order for Shopify to contact him and get the matter resolved. Shopify had replied to Soulja Boy’s tweet, telling the rapper to message them via Twitter’s Direct Messages feature asking for more context of the issue in order to get the matter resolved....

Soulja Boy is far from new to the gaming scene. The rapper is a pretty frequent Twitch streamer, having joined controversial streamer xQc for a session of Among Us games around a year ago. To add, Soulja also has plans for another Soulja Game Console following the release of and consequent lawsuit against his previous one. It’s clear to see that the rapper has a deep interest in video games, though strangely, Soulja hadn’t tried Destiny 2 until recently....
