As reported by GameSpot, Sony officially announced that the PlayStation 4 sold a staggering 6.2 million consoles over the holiday season. That’s from November 20, the week prior to Black Friday, through December 31. Those numbers bring the official total of PlayStation 4 units sold worldwide to 53.4 million as of January 1, 2017. While it’s interesting that Sony chose to include November sales with December sales, that doesn’t diminish how impressive the numbers are....

For example, while Sony is also working on AR games, judging by some of its older patent listings, the company doesn’t seem to have any shortage of ideas for future potential features that, unlike the notion of augmented reality itself, haven’t really been thoroughly explored yet. Sony made the announcement today, saying that it continues to “look for inventive opportunities to engage the community.” The desire to “innovate, think differently, and experiment with new ways to delight gamers” has led the company to opt not to participate in E3 2019, meaning the company will not hold its traditional press conference, nor will it host a booth at the show. Sony will not host an off-site event alongside E3, either....

The Pridefighter took Rose down memory lane and told her how last year she relinquished her spot for The Golden Goddess in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Sonya Deville even helped her during the match, but Rose was unable to get the job done. This distraction proved to be too much for Rose as she received a Superkick from Carmella, who secured the final spot in the Women’s Ladder match....
