There hasn’t been any new information regarding the next big restock, but the Japanese entertainment company has warned retailers and customers that supply issues will be a problem through 2022, according to Bloomberg. However, PS4 came back in a big way, outselling Xbox One during the busy holiday season of November and December. Now it’s been revealed that not only did Sony’s console sell well during the end of 2016, it had the best fiscal quarter in PlayStation history, selling more consoles during the three-month span than any other time ever. In the future, though, these delays will be a thing of the past. At PlayStation Experience 2016, Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida said that the company will be “more cautious” when announcing release dates in future. According to Gameblog.fr, Yoshida explained that, as video game development is so much more “complex” than it was previously, the company won’t reveal release dates before it’s too soon. Yoshida also said that Sony has learned from its “past mistakes” in jumping the gun on release dates....
