Early on in South Park: The Fractured but Whole, players are required to find the code to unlock the door to the secret Coon and Friends lair in Cartman’s basement. Of course, those who have already played the game once before - or those that simply looked up the code rather than hunting for the answer - will already know exactly what code to put in. However, the game does not take kindly to those who decide to skimp on the detective work....

The latest evidence that Fortnite has blown up is that the game was the butt of the joke in the latest episode of South Park. In the season premiere of the show (Season 22, Episode 1, “Dead Kids”), Cartman faces a dilemma. He explains to Butters that if he fails another math test, his mother is going to “ground” him from playing Fortnite. Other scenes in the episode - which takes on the topic of school shootings - see Cartman try to blackmail Token into letting him cheat....

Space Jam: A New Legacy will see a fictionalized version of LeBron James attempt to save his son Dom (Cedric Joe) from a rogue A.I. named Al G Rhythm (Don Cheadle). To save his son, the four-time NBA champion must defeat AI-G’s basketball team. The live-action comedy features iconic Looney Tunes characters such as Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, as well as cameos from NBA All-Stars Klay Thompson, Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, and Chris Paul....

The departure of the spacecraft, originally scheduled for Tuesday, was delayed due to the presence of Tropical Storm Elsa in the Gulf of Mexico—the splashdown location. The storm is currently moving northward along the northeastern U.S. coastline. The Cargo Dragon 2 launched to the ISS on June 3, from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, aboard a a Falcon 9 rocket as part of a NASA-contracted commercial resupply mission, known as SpaceX CRS-22....

One tweet, in particular, is being shared among PlayStation fans under the belief that it’s indicative of some major announcements pending. The tweet comes from PlayStation senior manager of sound design Jeremie Voillot. Voillot said in a tweet that he’s excited for Wednesday’s event, as even employees “don’t get to see everything.” He goes on to say that he’s sure that even he will be surprised by what will be shown....

His outstanding performance with the team made for an undoubtedly clear choice of the foreign players for the upcoming season as well. The new pricing for the four PlayStation Vue tiers will be $49.99 for the Access subscription, $54.99 for Core, $64.99 for Elite, and $84.99 for Ultra. Pricing for smaller channel packages including the Sports Pack, FX+, Epix Hits, and the Espanol Pack will not change. According to Sony, the reasoning behind the price increase is due to “costs rising each year for content.” Sony goes on to loosely describe its “constant evaluation” of the overall value for each subscription deal....

And it would appear that Sony, at the very least, has a plan for exactly that. The latest on the matter comes from Kotaku news editor Jason Schreier, who has posted news about the PlayStation 5 on his Twitter page in the past. This week, he reported that Sony’s strategy for the console is to lean into the fact that it’s making the PS5 “as accessible as possible.” In light of what we know, a focus on accessibility wouldn’t be that shocking a direction for it to take....

The last couple of years has been instrumental for the success of Xbox Game Pass, as a ton of high-profile releases have launched day-and-date to the platform — giving gamers more than enough reason to jump into the ecosystem. As such, Sony answering back to its competitors is of paramount importance, but from the looks of the project, Spartacus doesn’t seem to be doing enough to satiate the wants of all fans....

This week is a little thin on content - unless you’re really into Valentine’s Day. That said, there’s still plenty of great content to check out - especially the public demo for Sony’s upcoming action-drama Heavy Rain (which was previously only available to players following the “Four Days” alternate reality game). Kicking off the IGN Expo 2021 was a dark and bloody trailer for the Mortal Shell’s new DLC, The Virtuous Cycle. In the brief but powerful clip, the camera pans out through a ruined gothic landscape and a forest of gnarled trees, before honing in on a halberd-wielding warrior. As the grim figure starts to cut down their foes, one seems to try to beg for mercy. It seems that this being is not so concerned with the eponymous cycle, though, as they deliver a powerful blow just as the screen cuts to black....

The Associated Press reported that a 19-year-old female visited her family in South Africa. She then flew from South Korea and arrived in Malaysia on November 19 where she tested positive for COVID the following day, according to Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin. Khairy said that South Africa had not yet reported its first Omicron infection to the WHO when the student was already in Malaysia. The WHO said the variant is concerning based on the several mutations it has and how it spreads easily....
