This much was revealed today in a fresh post on the PlayStation Blog, with Sony announcing that this year’s PlayStation E3 Experience will come to theaters on Monday, June 11, 2018 in theaters across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and Chile. Those who wish to take part in viewing the company’s showcase ought to be happy to know that tickets are free and will be available at starting on Tuesday, June 5th at 11:00 AM PDT while supplies last. This will be the fifth year that Sony has decided to broadcast its PlayStation E3 press conference live to theaters, with the country of Chile being the latest nation to be included in the theatrical event since E3 2017’s showings. Those who attend this year will be given an exclusive poster and “other goodies”, as well as “a digital gift basket chock-full of treats” that will be distributed by way of the Experience PlayStation app, which will need to be downloaded before arriving at the theater for those who want to redeem them immediately.

While Sony has already intimated that certain titles will be receiving a spotlight during the PlayStation E3 2018 press conference, it’s safe to presume that there will also be plenty of secret surprises in store as well.
