The Indian Premier League will run from April 9 to June 3 and in during the ongoing IPL Auctions in Bangalore, Sanjay Patel indicated that South Africa may well host the tournament for the 2nd time in IPL’s history.
There’s a scheduled meeting between the top officials of IPL and Indian home ministry next week, where they’ll try to reach a decision on the venue of IPL this year.
The second edition of IPL was held in South Africa in 2009 which turned out to be a tremendous success.
