One of the violations occurred under former Gamecocks coach Steve Spurrier when he revealed that the daughter of a former NFL player was visiting the school.
New coach Will Muschamp has already committed six violations since taking over the football program in December. Infractions reported by the school included a former football player posing with prospects on a visit, a coach using a headset while in the press box to talk to coaches on the field, and a booster leaving a voicemail on a prospect’s phone.

The names of athletes and coaches involved were not disclosed.
All corrective actions by South Carolina were accepted by the NCAA.
