Southern Player Ejected After Tackling Opposing Player By The Neck

While Texas Southern’s Malcolm Riley was on a fastbreak, Southern’s Trelun Banks went for the hard foul and wound up tackling him by his neck.

Riley was so shaken up that he had to have a bandage around his head after medical staff tended to him.

Banks, who is the son of Southern’s head coach Roman Banks, was issued a Flagrant 2 and ejected from the game.

Texas Southern went on to win the game, 62-58.
